Board Members

Dawson Kaaua '01, Co-Chairman

Dawson was the only child out of four siblings in his family to be admitted to Kamehameha, the only affordable private school option for his family.  Because Dawson came from a low-income household, Kamehameha completely subsidized his education from grades 7 through 12.  As a student there, he studied genetics at Kamehameha and Duke University and competed in national math competitions in Tennessee, California, and Colorado.  Graduating from Stanford University with Honors in Economics, he is the first person in his family with a bachelor's degree and is currently attending The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for his MBA.
